NASHVILLE, Tenn., August 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- eSports retail and merchandise company We Are Nations announces a joint venture with Brazilian company Connection Gaming Wear. The joint venture is part of We Are Nations' global growth mission.
A launch event was held in June in Sao Paulo on behalf of the eSports team MIBR (Made in Brazil), the first client of the joint venture partnership. The event also celebrated the simultaneous launch of the webstore.
"We Are Nations is excited to expand our global scope to the large Brazilian gaming market," said We Are Nations COO Alex Romer. "The MIBR launch event was a success and a great start to this partnership."
Chris Cornell, co-founder of We Are Nations, continued, "We are thrilled to be doing business in Brazil and that initial sales have been so strong."
All teams will have merchandise released later this year to coincide with the BGS (Brazil Game Show) in mid-October, the largest gaming show in Latin America.
Connection Gaming Wear, headed by Marcelo Rodante, has worked with all the major eSports teams in Brazil, and was the first brand to manufacture jerseys for the League of Legends Championships. They additionally produce merchandise for traditional sports, including soccer.
"I believe we are doing something innovative with this partnership, which will be very successful. We wanted to work with We Are Nations because of the global reach they have," said Marcelo Rodante.
