AEye Announces Addition of Aravind Ratnam as Vice President of Product Management

PLEASANTON, Calif., Aug. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AEye, a leader in artificial perception systems, today announced the appointment of Aravind Ratnam as Vice President of Product Management. Ratnam brings deep automotive, software, lasers/optics and product management expertise to AEye's executive team that complements the deep defense, technology, intelligence and automotive experience already in place. Ratnam's experience will be integral as the company expands to meet the needs of automotive OEM and tier one customers implementing AEye's industry-leading iDARtm artificial perception system for the autonomous vehicle and ADAS markets.

Ratnam brings a breadth of knowledge and a valuable network to AEye. In his previous role as product management head for connected car solutions at Wind River, an embedded systems company that was part of Intel's IoT group, he successfully led corporate strategy and the direction and execution of the Wind River automotive portfolio. Prior to Wind River, he held executive positions at management consulting firm IBB, strategy consulting firm Monitor Deloitte, and Cymer, a manufacturer of sophisticated UV lasers for semiconductor lithography.
