Olympic Hopeful Shane Kline Takes Home Four Medals, Including Gold, at USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships

LADERA RANCH, Calif., Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- SmartStop Asset Management, LLC (SmartStop) announced today that Shane Kline, an American cyclist and Olympic hopeful sponsored by SmartStop® Self Storage, took home the gold medal at the USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships in the team pursuit men's elite race on August 4 ? 7 in Carson, California.

Kline also earned silver medals in the madison men's elite race and the international omnium elite 17-99 competition, an Olympic event which consists of four separate races: scratch race, tempo, elimination and points. He took home a bronze medal in the men's elite points race.

"Shane has competed at a high level all season, and in just 12 days, brought home six medals at elite national championship events in cycling held on both sides of the country," said H. Kline's success at the USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships follow his silver medal win at the USA Cycling's Amateur Road National Championships in the 162-kilometer men's category 1 road race on July 27.

He is also leading the 2018 Men's Rider of the Year standings from Valley Preferred Cycling Center, the nation's most prestigious track cycling venue. Kline currently has 28 points, four points ahead of his closest competitor.
