Axalta Debuts New Premium Flexible Imron Topcoat to Industrial Market


HOUSTON, Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Axalta (NYSE: AXTA), is excited to release Imron® 3.5 + FX Flexible Topcoat into its existing portfolio of high performance Imron Industrial coatings. The new formulation offers improved elongation and flexibility, allowing for maximum bend capacity without cracking.

Imron 3.5+ FX Black Flexible Topcoat is a premium coating solution that provides superior weathering performance, distinctness of image (DOI) and a consistent high-gloss finish to industrial applications. Its excellent flexibility properties make it a recommended choice for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) manufacturers and for metal fabrication where exceptional flexibility is critical. This two-component polyurethane topcoat is formulated to provide a robust application with good flow and leveling for excellent appearance.
