Nexen Tire Sponsors the International Champions Cup USA for Two Consecutive Years

Nexen Tire aims to continue enhancing its position in the market through this sponsorship by presenting itself on a world stage where many of the prestigious European football clubs will be competing. Continuing from last year, the company has been presenting its logo to the global audience through LED advertisement boards installed in all the stadiums where matches are being held. The pre-match player line-up arch, where players standby before the match, is also once again being branded with Nexen Tire's logo for all of Manchester City's games. Nexen Tire presented the branded pre-match player line-up arch during Manchester City's first game against Dortmund which was held on July 20 at Soldier Field, Chicago.

In addition to these extended sponsoring rights, as a new feature this year, Nexen Tire's logo will be exposed through 3D carpet advertisement during two major matches including the Manchester City VS Liverpool game on July 25 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford and the other game to be held at Hard Rock Stadium on July 31 in Miami. Nexen Tire's logo will be placed on the ground near the goalposts, which will look like an advertising signage when captured by a TV camera and will be aired live to international television audiences throughout these two matches.

"Nexen Tire recognizes the US as one of the critical markets for our global growth," said Jong Sun Kim, CEO & President of Nexen Tire America. "In addition to our sponsorship of the 2018 ICC and Manchester City's ICC tour, we will be utilizing our strategic marketing platforms to further strengthen relationships with our global business partners in the US by inviting them to join us for the 2018 ICC."

Nexen Tire's marketing effect is expected to double, with its position as the Official Sleeve Partner of Manchester City. The club will be participating in the 2018 ICC in playing shirts with left sleeves emblazoned with Nexen Tire logo. Manchester City has presented the logo of the English Premier League's first ever sleeve sponsor on the left sleeves of the playing shirts since the 2017/18 season, when English Premier League had decided to approve sleeve advertising for the first time in the league's history.

Many soccer fans are excited about the 2018 ICC, continuing with the global soccer fever from the 2018 Russian World Cup. Nexen Tire plans to use this global momentum to strengthen its international marketing initiatives, reaching out to its global fans and consumers hand in hand with its strategic partner, Manchester City.
