InventHelp Inventor Develops Roadway Headlight Alert System (POO-355)

PITTSBURGH, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- It's probably safe to assume that at one time or another, practically every driver has noticed another car on the road without its headlights on in the dark. Fortunately, two inventors from Tigard, Ore., have thought of a way to prevent this from happening.

They developed ACTIVE SIGNAGE to provide drivers with a visible prompt to use their headlights when they forget to turn them on. As such, it enhances travel safety for motorists by ensuring that they have good visibility in dim or dark areas, as well as ensuring they are seen by others. Thus, it reduces the chances of highway accidents at night or in dim lighting because it is designed to attract drivers' attention immediately. In addition, it operates automatically once installed. It is also practical, effective and affordably priced.

The inventors' personal experience inspired the idea. "I was tired of having to flash my headlights at other drivers after dark to let them know their headlights were not on," one of them said.
