InventHelp Inventor Develops Salt Removal System for Braid Fishing Line and Reels (SDB-1207)

PITTSBURGH, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from San Diego, Calif., who is also a saltwater fisherman, found his braid line and reels were not holding up well because of salt exposure. So he devised a way to keep them in working condition much longer.

He developed BRAID LINE RINSE SYSTEM to remove salt and other contaminants from braided fishing line and reels. As such, it extends line life and minimizes reel corrosion. Thus, it reduces costly equipment replacement. At the same time, it improves a saltwater fisherman's casting performance. This unique invention is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. Furthermore, it is easy to operate with a standard five-gallon bucket. In addition, its simple design keeps production costs low.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I enjoy recreational fishing in salt water but did not like the damaging effects of the salt on my line and reels," he said. "So I designed a device to minimize this effect and reduce the expense of frequent equipment replacement."

The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
