Romanian Air Force Selects Boeing Subsidiary, Tapestry Solutions, to Modernize Maintenance for its F-16 Fighter Jets

SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tapestry Solutions, a subsidiary of Boeing [NYSE: BA], announced it has received a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide an Integrated Maintenance System (IMS) for Romanian Air Force's (RoAF) fleet of F-16 fighter aircraft. The FMS contract calls for the integration of Tapestry's GOLDesp Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) software, which will modernize maintenance, logistics and supply operations for the fleet.

With its integrated supply and maintenance capabilities, and "out of the box" military best practices, GOLDesp will enable the customer to minimize sustainment costs over the life of the platform ? an estimated 70 percent of the total lifecycle cost.
