Velazquez is an entrepreneur and international business executive with extensive experience in starting and growing businesses across the globe. He has been a leader of technology companies, including Terremark Worldwide, which he helped grow over 12 years ? and then sell to Verizon for $1.4 billion.

His high level of integrity and trust lead him to be an advisor to state and national political leaders, including former Florida Govs. Bob Martinez and Jeb Bush and former presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush.

Before his work in private business, he served in a variety of U.S. government positions with several U.S. governmental agencies, working in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
