Moringa Wellness promotes healthy eating habits through De Beers youth soccer sponsorship to IBERCUP 2018

BOCA RATON, Fla., July 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Moringa Wellness in support of a healthy and active lifestyle sponsors De Beers Football Club, a South African youth soccer team, helping them attend the IBERCUP 2018 in Portugal, one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the world.

"Huge thanks and appreciation to Moringa Wellness for their vision in supporting sports through essential nutritional products," Miguel Ribas, De Beers head coach said. "It made a massive impact on the success of our tour and to the players themselves. We could absolutely see the difference in the players performance and endurance with such a grueling tournament that really pushed them to the limit as athletes."

Moringa Wellness is known for its scientifically formulated foods containing ingredients native to South Africa. Exclusive and revolutionary, the health food company's food scientists have developed a process in which they use reverse osmosis and atomization to create a potent, water-soluble botanical extract called Moringex.

"The energy and fruit bars were great between games because it made me feel like I had a full lunch," said soccer player Pierce Gordon.

De Beers FC was founded and established as club in 1902 in South Africa. This year, the team made it to the IBERCUP quarterfinals. Unfortunately, a penalty ultimately cost them a chance at the winners' circle. Nonetheless, in past seasons, the squad had made it to two IBERCUP finals, winning one and losing one in penalties.

"The pace of the tournament was fast, and the standard of soccer extremely high," David Collett, Moringa Wellness CEO, said. "It was a pleasure to take a group of 27 youngsters half way round the world and watch them play at such a high level against the best teams in the world. May their passion for this sport never die!"

Moringa Wellness' products are 100 percent natural, sweetened with honey, with no added sugar or preservatives. Its' energy bars come in three different flavors ? cacao, apricot, and baobab cranberry and hoodia?fuelled with Moringex, an all-in-one bioavailable nutritional combination that helps fuel the body with amino acids, trace minerals and vitamins used during extreme athletic activity.

"It was great to have a positive sponsor like Moringa Wellness on board to promote health and nutrition in sports," Bevan Lane, De Beer's FC's coach, said. "It's so important for athletes to eat well and maintain a balanced diet through training and into match situations."
