InventHelp Inventor Develops Training Aid for Basketball Players (MTN-3056)


PITTSBURGH, July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I have a knee injury and could not keep up with the teens I was coaching, so I went home and put something together that I thought might help," said an inventor from Brooklyn, N.Y. "I have since made some improvements, and now I have a functional and effective training aid."

He created a prototype for the X-TENDED D-FENCE to extend the range of a coach's defensive reach. This challenges the offense to overcome taller opponents. It also improves players' dribbling techniques. The training aid enhances the height of players' jump shots and lay-ups. It is usable to block shots and make players uncomfortable so that they have to perform under pressure. All of this is designed to help players excel during game play.

The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
