InventHelp Inventor Develops Push-Up Trainer (MTN-2981)

PITTSBURGH, July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I thought that people would love a personal, portable push-up trainer," said an inventor from Bronx, N.Y. "I came up with this idea to ensure that people are doing push-ups with proper form. It makes it easy to track progress, set fitness goals and stay motivated to work out and to help the athletes and judging process of any competitive event."

He created a prototype for the patent pending PROPER PUSH to provide a more efficient way to track the number of push-ups completed. The unit eliminates the need to count reps in one's head. It also makes it easier to see how many push-ups can be performed in a preset amount of time. The invention helps motivate the user to do more push-ups. The device enables the user to see his or her progress. Furthermore, it ensures that push-ups are completed with proper form. Additionally, the invention makes sure you do the exercise correctly from the first rep to the last (i.e., it corrects your form).

The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
