ChronWell Launches Program to Help Injured Farm Workers in California

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ChronWell, a first-of-its-kind mobile platform for the workers' compensation industry, today announced that it will launch its pilot program with California Farm Management (CFM). Utilizing hybrid human/Artificial Intelligence technology, ChronWell's services will help workers recover and return to work faster at a lower cost to the employer.

CFM is an elite collective of farmers who have pooled their resources to successfully self-insure. Created and managed by Self Insured Solutions (SIS), a leader in developing and administering private self-insured workers' compensation groups, the CFM collective provides coverage to approximately 90,000 employees. They will deploy the ChronWell application with one of their largest employers, Cream of the Crop Companies, which employs 5,000 to 7,000 workers, depending on the season.

"Partnering with SIS for our pilot program is a perfect fit," said ChronWell CEO Joe Rubinsztain. "Our mission is to bring empathy back into health care and help injured workers recover faster by providing transparent, patient-centric services. Self-insured groups can truly benefit from innovative solutions that optimize recovery for injured workers."

The pilot program will deploy ChronWell's Recovry solution which quickly and efficiently addresses on-site injuries and helps direct care for the best results. Recovry's technology-enabled platform engages patients and better directs follow-up care.

"California Farm Management is committed to the safety of their workers," explained Santiago Martin, Jr., CEO of Trilogy Group, the administrative company for Central Valley Contracting, Cream of the Crop Ag Service and Cal Ag Resources. "With ChronWell, they take it one step further, insuring that if there is an injury, workers are treated with empathy and receive the quality care they deserve."

"ChronWell is disrupting the workers' compensation system by employing technology to actually put the injured worker's needs first," said ChronWell President Salomon Sredni. "Our platform is designed to provide empathy and a speedier recovery, all while reducing costs."
