Worldwide Growth for Zenuity: Recruiting 100 New Specialists in 2018

GOTHENBURG, Sweden, July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --

Autonomous driving systems for cars continue to create dynamic expansion for one of the fastest growing companies in the Nordic region - Zenuity. Recently, the company also announced the opening of a new Tech Hub in Silicon Valley, to source world class knowledge and talent for the future.

One new colleague a day - this has been the everyday experience of Zenuity's first year in business. Today, the software vendor has doubled in size to more than 600 staff members.

Growth is not only apparent at the main office in Göteborg, but also within the branch offices in Munich, Detroit, Shanghai and most recently Santa Clara, California. Here, Zenuity shares office space with partner Ericsson. Santa Clara is famous for its many hi tech niche companies within Automotive and Telecom, which opens for more and larger strategic partnerships over time.

Heading up the new Tech Hub in Silicon Valley is Martta Lystila, with experience from companies like Nokia, VMWare and Car Multimedia.

"Zenuity offers a perfect combination of exciting technology, awesome people and a unique company culture and values", Martta Lystila exclaims.

"We are forming a small efficient team initially. Our prime tasks will be to source new collaborations and talent, but also to focus on technology scouting - finding out what is new and hot".

The company is based on the technology from the innovation teams at Volvo Cars and Autoliv (currently Veoneer). Zenuity acts on the market independently, developing and selling systems via Veoneer, to car manufacturers and OEM's worldwide.

Many want to work in the company's autonomous teams, with their flexible, modular approach which has established the company as world leading - both regarding AD (Autonomous Driving) and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist Systems).

To form the perfect team, many qualifications are required. Developmental engineers, IT and AI specialists, mathematicians and algorithm experts are in demand, as well as researchers in many areas.

An additional 100 persons are expected to be hired during 2018.

Zenuity:

Zenuity is at the forefront in the software development of advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) technologies. Zenuity has a flexible, modular approach to software development that allows it to partner and integrate with all vehicle OEMs and assist them to get their ADAS and AD solutions out to market faster.
