Teamsters Military Assistance Program Sponsors Central Mass Veterans Jobs Expo


WORCESTER, Mass., July 6, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Teamsters Military Assistance Program (TMAP) is working with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Teamsters Local 170 and iPods for Wounded Veterans (IWV) to host a job fair for members of the armed services who are looking for full-time employment. The event is being held in conjunction with the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. In addition to the job expo, there will be refreshments, music, raffles every hour and free electronics for current and former members of the military.

"Teamsters and veterans from all over New England are encouraged to attend and participate in our jobs expo," said Paul Cardello, Founder of iPods for Wounded Veterans. "We're hoping to get as many servicemen and women as possible to attend."

TMAP/IWV is still looking for additional companies to participate in the event, which is free of cost to vendors. To participate, go to http://ipodsforwoundedveterans.org or contact Paul Cardello at [email protected]. Registration is available until July 11.
