BERWYN, Pa., July 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Center for SafeSport announced today that NCHERM Group Partner, W. Scott Lewis, J.D., has been appointed to the Board of the U.S. Center for Safe Sport in the role of Acting Chief of Response and Resolution. Lewis has been a consultant to the Center for SafeSport for the last five years and this appointment reflects his increased role and value to the Center. Lewis' primary role as a Partner with The NCHERM Group remains unchanged and his experience with the Center for SafeSport continues to enhance his abilities and expertise in working with his NCHERM Group clients. The NCHERM Group is a law and consulting firm providing system-level solutions for safer schools and campuses.

NCHERM Group President & CEO, Brett A. Sokolow, J.D. said of the appointment: "It is an honor for an NCHERM Group Partner to be asked to serve in such a role, to deepen the firm's work on the prevention and response to sexual violence in many fields and industries."

Lewis added: "As many NCHERM Group clients know, I have worked for many years with a group to help establish the Center for SafeSport and am thankful for the opportunity to have that work recognized more formally. Of course, as I have for the last ten years, I remain committed to my work as a Partner with The NCHERM Group, its clients, and working to eliminate sexual violence on campuses and in all areas of society."
