Dirt Bikes for a Good Cause: Moringa Wellness health foods sponsors African MAZ Siavonga 400 Enduro Race

BOCA RATON, Fla., July 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Moringa Wellness health food brand was proud to sponsor the MAZ Siavonga 400 Enduro 2018 in effort to raise money and awareness for the Namumu village clinic, servicing the Matinangala people in the outskirts of Siavonga, Zambia.

"I was blown away with the amount of support from the sponsors such as Moringa Wellness who fueled the riders with their fantastic products," said professional rider Darren Gray.

Moringa Wellness is known for its scientifically formulated foods containing ingredients native to South Africa. Exclusive and revolutionary, the health food company's food scientists have developed a process in which they use reverse osmosis and atomization to create a potent, water-soluble botanical extract called Moringex.

"Riding for five hours over rugged terrain requires all the right nutrition, and using Moringa Wellness energy bars gives me just that," David Collet, Moringa Wellness CEO said. For Collet, generosity, kindness and love for the Zambian village in need is what motivated him and Moringa Wellness to sponsor this thrilling race.

The long weekend gave cause to celebrate as riders cheered each other on through the rugged terrain. The adventurous spirit of the riders was palpable, driving them to their limits throughout the three-day event.

"The Siavonga 400 Enduro race highlighted the beautiful scenes of Zambia," Travis Teasdale, another professional rider at the race this year, said. "Finishing day one on the lake was amazing. The extreme Enduro was demanding but great to see everyone finished the event."

Moringa Wellness' products are 100 percent natural, sweetened with honey, with no added sugar or preservatives. Its energy bars come in three different flavors ? cacao, Apricot and baobab cranberry and hoodia?fuelled with Moringex, an all-in-one bioavailable nutritional combination that helps top up amino acids, trace minerals and vitamins used up during extreme athletic activity.

The race took place during the Zambian Hero's and Unity long weekend, June 30 to July 2. All funds raised were given to Namumu Clinic, a Siavonga small clinic in the Matinangala Village.
