GenomeDx Announces Cigna Coverage for Decipher Prostate Cancer Tests

SAN DIEGO, June 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- GenomeDx Biosciences, a leader in the field of urologic cancer genomics, announced today that Cigna® issued positive medical policy coverage for Decipher® Prostate RP and Decipher Prostate Biopsy, effective immediately. Cigna's coverage decision reflects the recent inclusion of Decipher in the 2018 National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology for Prostate Cancer. Coverage is provided for newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients with low or favorable-intermediate NCCN risk group disease as well as for patients with persistent or recurrent PSA following radical prostatectomy (surgical removal of the prostate).
