Ovation Travel Group Acquires UK Based Chartwell Travel

LONDON, June 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ovation Travel Group, one of the largest independently owned travel management companies in the U.S., today announced the acquisition of Chartwell Travel Limited. The London office will represent Ovation's first wholly-owned location outside of the U.S.

Chartwell Travel has built its reputation for "high touch" service with demanding clients including numerous entertainment, film, television and news production companies.

Ovation's UK operations will be led by Tina Rose, who is joining the company as Managing Director. Mr. Joseph will report to Ms. Rose. An industry veteran, most recently having spent nearly 12 years with Protravel International, Tina will oversee Ovation's growth in the UK. Chartwell Travel will serve as Ovation's base for luxury leisure and corporate independent travel advisors in the UK. That business complements the managed corporate travel of Ovation, which specializes in high touch business travel for professional service firms and other service intensive clients.
