Nikki Ballentine, PA-C, Joins Award Winning Providers at Lake Havasu City Dermatology and Skin Cancer

LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz., June 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- LA Laser and Skin Center is pleased to announce the newest addition to our Lake Havasu City Dermatology and Skin Cancer team, Nikki Ballentine, PA-C. She joins our practice as a military veteran and experienced healthcare provider with specialties in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Nikki is a certified physician assistant and a native of Layton, Utah. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from The University of San Diego in 2005 and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the Interservice Physician Assistant Program in Houston, Texas, training under acclaimed dermatologists in clinical, surgical, and cosmetic treatment.

Early in her career, Nikki was commissioned into the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and served in the Medical Service Corps for four years. After graduate school, she cared for soldiers in the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia. Nikki was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, receiving the Bronze Star Medal for exceptional meritorious service. When she returned home, she began specializing in dermatology at Winn Army Community Hospital. In 2017, Nikki was honorably discharged from active duty service and moved to Lake Havasu City to continue practicing her specialty. Today, she lives in Lake Havasu City with her husband and two children and continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserves with the 7243rd Medical Support Unit out of Nellis Air Force Base.

Nikki is a caring and compassionate local provider who takes time at every office visit to listen to patients and hear their concerns. While many dermatologists in the area rush through appointments, Nikki understands that every patient deserves quality time with their healthcare provider.
