Treasure Hunt Ticket Worth $106,000 Sold in Scranton

MIDDLETOWN, Pa., June 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A Lackawanna County store sold a jackpot-winning Treasure Hunt ticket worth $106,000, less withholding, for the Friday, June 15, drawing.

The ticket matched all five balls drawn, 18-20-21-27-29. Convenient Food Mart, 1801 Pittston Ave., Scranton, earns a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated. Treasure Hunt prizes expire one year from the drawing date. Anyone holding a jackpot-winning ticket should sign the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office for further instructions.

More than 31,200 other Treasure Hunt tickets won prizes in the drawing. Players should check every ticket, every time.

Last fiscal year, Lottery players in Lackawanna County won more than $62 million and programs that benefit older residents received more than $28 million in Lottery funds.

How to play Treasure Hunt: Players pay $1 and select five numbers from 1 to 30. Players may select their own numbers or opt for computer-selected quick picks. Players must match all five numbers drawn to win the jackpot. Players also win prizes for matching two, three or four winning numbers. A day game, Treasure Hunt is drawn every afternoon and tickets can be purchased up to seven draws (one week) in advance. Ticket sales end at 1:05 p.m. each day. Chances of winning the jackpot prize are 1 in 142,506; the overall chances of winning any prize are about 1 in 5.45.
