SportsEngine to Launch New Online Sports Life Management Marketplace

MINNEAPOLIS, June 13, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SportsEngine Inc., an NBC Sports Group company and the leading youth sports technology provider, announced today that it will launch SportsEngine Marketplace, an online marketplace of sports-related applications and services. Launching this month, SportsEngine Marketplace will connect apps and services that help simplify the day-to-day tasks of managing a sports life with sports organizations and over 14 million active athletes and their families that are currently SportsEngine customers.

Apps and services that are interested in being featured on SportsEngine Marketplace can fill out an application, and once approved, will be provided with a self-managed listing, assets to promote their product or service within the Marketplace, and access to the SportsEngine API so they can offer extended functionality to SportsEngine's targeted audience of sports administrators, coaches and families on the platform.

The launch of SportsEngine Marketplace is part of the company's ongoing commitment to provide value-added benefits along with its suite of solutions for youth sports teams, clubs, leagues and national governing bodies. Tens of thousands of sports organizations use SportsEngine to run their websites, tournaments, leagues, online registrations and mobile apps. Through the use of these solutions, customers have drastically reduced the time spent on administrative tasks allowing them more time to focus on developing their athletes and facilitating their busy sports lives.

"Our solutions have provided administrators, coaches and families with the ability to spend more time focusing on their young athletes and furthering their love of sport," said Justin Kaufenberg, CEO, SportsEngine. "SportsEngine Marketplace doubles down on that mission and provides a place for companies that share our passion for youth sports to connect with our community, while providing products and services that can be integrated with the SportsEngine platform. With the SportsEngine platform and our marketplace of connected apps and services, customers now have a single source provider for all sports organization management needs."

SportsEngine Marketplace will officially launch late June 2018. For all packaging, pricing and application to be listed within the Marketplace, please visit: https://www.sportsengine.com/marketplace/apply
