Recipients of 2018 CMA Awards announced, to be celebrated this August in Winnipeg


OTTAWA, May 24, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) announced its 2018 award recipients, as part of its annual recognition of outstanding individuals who made an exceptional contribution to medicine and the health care system. The 12 award-recipients will be honored at a gala event in Winnipeg on August 21.

"Taking a moment to highlight and recognize the work of these deserving individuals reminds us all of the incredible work being done every day in this country. It's my privilege to acknowledge these individuals and I look forward to congratulating them personally this summer," said Dr. Laurent Marcoux, CMA president.
