Pool tag survivor. In this game, one swimmer is it and can call out either "submarine, "froggy," or "dolphin." Submarines must swim at the bottom of the pool. If froggy is called, swimmers swim in the middle of the pool. And, submarines swim at the bottom of the pool. The person who is it must try to tag the others with their eyes closed. Swimmers who are tagged are also it. Swimmers who make it to the other end of the pool are survivors!

Octopus. This game is Red Rover for the swimming pool. Players must travel from one side of the pool to the other without being tagged by the person who is it. Players who get tagged must stand in the middle of the and hold hands with others as they get tagged. As subsequent players keep getting tagged, they will form a long line in the middle of the pool?the octopus. The last player untagged is the winner.

King of the tube. Have the children form two teams and select a champion for each team. The champion sits inside of an inner tube while the other players try to knock the other team's champion out just by touching the tube. Players are not allowed to touch the champion's body. The first team able to get the other champion out of his or her tube wins the game.

Piranha ball. First, three or more players float in a circle with hands held. Place a beach ball in the center of the group. The object of this game is not to touch the ball. Players blow or splash the ball toward the other players. If a player bumps into the ball, he or she must leave the circle. The last person to not touch the ball is the winner.
