Kenosha Dealership Compares New Jeep Cherokee With Top Competitors

This month, the dealership added comparisons with the new 2019 Jeep Cherokee versus two of its top competitors, the Ford Escape and the Nissan Rogue.  
 
In the Cherokee versus Ford Escape comparison, the dealership found that while the Ford Escape offers a marginally lower starting price point, the Cherokee offers many more interior comfort and convenience features, as well as more power under the hood and higher fuel efficiency estimates, making it the better option overall for consumers. The Jeep Cherokee offers standard features like knee protection airbags for the driver and front passenger, front fog lights and heated side mirrors, along with available features like heated front seats, lumbar support for the driver and a blind spot monitor. The Escape offers knee protection airbags for the driver only, and doesn't offer any of the other listed features.  
 
The team at Palmen Motors found that the 2019 Cherokee also offers more power, safety and comfort than the 2018 Nissan Rogue. While the Rogue does have a larger engine, it doesn't provide as much power and responsiveness as the Cherokee's engine. The Jeep Cherokee comes standard with a 2.4-liter engine that reaches 180 horsepower and is coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission that has overdrive and auto-manual capabilities. The Rogue has a 2.5-liter engine that gets up to 170 horsepower and is paired with a two-speed Continuously Variable Transmission with overdrive and auto-manual capabilities.
