MONTREAL, March 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Imperial Mining Group Ltd. ("Imperial") (TSX VENTURE:IPG) is pleased to announce that it officially rang the bell to open TSX. Peter J. Cashin, President & CEO for Imperial Mining Group Ltd., Donald S. Bubar, Chairman of the Board for Imperial and Tim Babcock, Director, Listed Issuer Services, TSX Venture Exchange, were present to open the market for the days' trading. Imperial officers and Board of Directors members as well as close friends and business associates were also present to celebrate the event.

Imperial Mining Group Ltd. is a new mineral development company formed by the roll-in of the Québec gold and copper-zinc properties of NQ Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:NQE) with the technology metals project (scandium-niobium-tantalum-rare earths) of privately-owned Peak Mining Corporation.
