R9B Names Doug Williams Executive Vice President of Product Development

Doug will lead product development, quality assurance, and technical customer support activities. He joins R9B after a distinguished 33-year career with IBM research and development, where he was most recently a senior data scientist in IBM's CISO organization. Doug also served as the technical leader in IBM's advanced security development organization while leading a global team of engineers, security experts, and Cloud operations professionals.

Doug brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to R9B, having worked in a variety of technology areas throughout his career to include data science, networking, data storage, cloud, and software development technologies. He led an advanced research team in IBM's Watson Research Division, and for the past decade has been a key leader in IBM's corporate-wide adoption of Agile development practices. His more recent advanced security project explored applying machine learning algorithms to data loss prevention problems.
