CarePICS awarded Digital Wound Management System agreement with Premier
RALEIGH, N.C., March 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CarePICS, LLC has been awarded a group purchasing agreement for Digital Wound Management Systems with Premier. Effective March 1st, 2018, the new agreement allows Premier members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier for CarePICS Remote Clinical Imagery System, Protocol Formulary Module, Photo Acquisition Module and VoIP Module.
CarePICS® permits HIPAA compliant patient screening and consults of wound and dermatology conditions. The solution uses an auto-calibrated measuring feature to expedite wound measurements greatly improving clinical accuracy. It also enables the acquisition and transmission of chart data and notes.
CarePICS® provides an innovative Protocol Formulary Module (PFM) to build enterprise-configurable protocols for specific wound care products addressing clinical and economic organizational goals. An integrated trending feature assists clinical decisions throughout healing cycles and provides closed-loop feedback for formulary efficacy.
CarePICS® enables secure voice, text and imagery sharing for population health management in different delivery networks within the modern care continuum. CarePICS® is a cross platform application and is compatible with major electronic medical record systems.
