EDMONTON, March 21, 2018 /CNW/ - On Saturday, March 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Southgate Centre will be celebrating all things environmental in advance of Earth Hour (8:30 pm). In partnership with Bullfrog Power, Southgate Centre will purchase 419 MWh of green electricity from Bullfrog Power?equivalent to what 216,070 households in Edmonton would use in one hour.

Learn how Southgate Centre is taking action for the environment on Earth Hour and throughout the year by supporting renewable energy with Bullfrog Power, implementing waste diversion programs and water bottle refilling and EV charging stations and more.

WHAT: Southgate Centre and Bullfrog Power celebrate Earth Hour 2018, featuring:

• On-site signage encouraging patrons to participate in Earth Hour 2018
• Renewable energy-themed activity sheets and crafts for kids
