BookingBug reveals global expansion and key hires on back of 500% growth

BOSTON, March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, BookingBug, the world's leading omnichannel customer engagement platform, reveals a surge in growth across the United States and the globe and has recently been recognized by Deloitte for it's 554% growth as one of the fastest growing companies in the world. This is the result of increasing demand for organizations to build closer connections with their customers and to unite online and offline channels.

The company is expanding their focus on the US market and has moved to a new, larger Boston office and opened an office in Washington, DC, in addition to existing offices in London and Australia to accommodate 140+ BookingBug employees around the world.

The business has also brought in a highly experienced enterprise tech veteran Todd Nicholson, to occupy the new Chief Marketing Officer role to drive the global sales and marketing strategy. Nicholson's background includes marketing, product and sales experience working at small emerging technology providers and industry leading companies including IBM, EMC, Extreme Networks and Gartner.

Glenn Shoosmith, CEO of BookingBug digs into the details of the challenge:

"Retailers, banks and governments have entered a new age of enlightenment when it comes to the importance of true customer engagement."

"This global demand for the BookingBug customer engagement platform has driven our business expansion in the North America and Asia Pacific regions as we continue to grow our customer base and build a world class team to take BookingBug to the next level of growth."

BookingBug also recently won the 2018 TransAtlantic Growth (TAG) Award for Medium Gold Inward Investment, recognizing the success of British businesses in the United States.
