UltraShipTMS Releases Update to Award-Winning Transportation Management System (TMS) Software Platform


FAIR LAWN, N.J., Mar. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- UltraShipTMS development teams successfully rolled out UltraShipTMS version 5.14 several days ago and product teams report the new version has achieved stable, steady-state operation for all customers on the platform. This latest release delivers numerous upgrades to existing features as well as many new features and enhanced functionality across every module of the UltraShipTMS platform.

Among the more notable developments are enhancements to backhaul and return stop linking processes in the UltraFleet private and dedicated fleet management module. Improvements to UltraShip's freight settlement module, UltraFreightPay, include more effective searchability, carrier charge reporting and payment processing for more efficient carrier payment and stronger carrier relationship development. The LoadFusion Optimizer has been updated to allow for the re-running of the same orders through additional optimization sequence within any profile.

Recently announced integration with FourKites now delivers real time tracking including temperature reporting for cold-chain shipments in transit. Enhanced location management functionality now provides more precise location management page columns, more detailed location alert emails and more efficient administrative capabilities.

Other upgrades were made to the UltraShip Mobile Check Call App, reporting and scorecard features, and Advanced Scheduling module functions, allowing driver login, check calling of out-of-sequence stops, display of last stop and other data points. Direct cost enhancements have been applied to Rate Management functions. Additionally, UltraShip developers completed and deployed many other UI and administrative functional improvements.
