Practice Velocity Ranked KLAS Category Leader for Urgent Care for Fourth Consecutive Year

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill., March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Health care professionals have spoken, and they have ranked Practice Velocity's VelociDoc® urgent care EMR as the KLAS Category Leader in "urgent care" in the 2018 Best in KLAS: Software & Services report for the fourth consecutive year.

Jackson Tate, KLAS Research Manager, and Greg Wentz, Practice Velocity Chief Technology Officer

KLAS is an independent research organization that monitors vendor performance in the health care industry by collecting and reviewing feedback from payors and health care professionals. KLAS' findings show that, according to health care professionals, Practice Velocity's urgent care solutions continue to be the highest performing in the urgent care industry.

"We are incredibly grateful to our clients for ranking us No. 1 in urgent care in the KLAS report for a fourth year," says Dr. David Stern, CEO of Practice Velocity. "It's because our clients take the time out of their hectic schedules to provide honest, detailed feedback to the KLAS researchers that we have maintained our Category Leader designation for four years. We're so lucky to have the opportunity to offer our solutions to such great people."

The Category Leader designation is reserved for businesses that are leaders within their market segments and have at least two products that have received a minimum level of consumer feedback, known as "KLAS Konfidence."

"Category Leader is more than a ranking," says Adam Gale, president of KLAS. "It is a recognition of vendors committed to delivering superior solutions. It gives voice to thousands of providers who are demanding better performance, usability and interoperability in health care technology."

Practice Velocity's commitment to providing those superior solutions to urgent care providers started in 2002 when three urgent care physicians collaborated with a team of programmers to develop an electronic medical record and practice management software designed specifically for urgent care practices. Today, nearly 800 urgent care centers in all 50 states have chosen Practice Velocity as their urgent care EMR and practice management solution.
