Office of Inspector General (OIG) Awards CALNET Prime Contract for Service Desk Services and End-User Support Services


RESTON, Va., March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CALNET announced today that it has won an award to provide Service Desk Services and End-User Support Services for the Office of Inspector General (OIG) at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Washington, DC.

CALNET will provide the Office of Inspector General (OIG) at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) a low risk, best value solution to its Service Desk and End-User Support requirements. Contract is for a base year and 4 option periods.

Implementation of this program represents a fundamental change in IT support processes across the agency as OIG seeks a National solution. Team CALNET will effectively execute and deliver nationwide service desk and end-user support operations by implementing Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) and Help Desk Institute (HDI) concepts. We bring an ITIL compliant solution that meets OIG's requirements with our highly experienced and technically knowledgeable team. CALNET will support OIG with their critical mission to protect the integrity of HHS programs as well as the health and welfare of program beneficiaries.

CALNET will standup a new service desk and provide end-user support services for high-quality Information Technology (IT) support to approximately 1,900 users spread across the OIG HHS Washington, D.C. Headquarters, 10 regional offices, and over 80 field offices distributed throughout the United States.
