Léo Harley-Davidson is now a part of Groupe Park Avenue

BROSSARD, QC, March 20, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Groupe Park Avenue is expanding its services with regard to mobility by acquiring Léo Harley-Davidson. Already well established on Taschereau Boulevard, the automobile dealership group is proud to add such a prestigious brand to its current roster of luxury brands.

An expansion that reflects the company's entrepreneurial vision
Groupe Park Avenue, a family-run company from Québec that has been in business since 1959, was looking to offer a broader range of mobility options. Given its aim to be recognized as the one-stop service provider for all its customers' needs, it made sense for the automobile group to add a leisure component to what is already on offer. A major player in the luxury automobile industry, Groupe Park Avenue has experienced significant growth in recent years. In fact, the automobile group is currently in an acquisition phase and the addition of Léo Harley-Davidson to its roster is in tune with its vision of long-term expansion in all respects. Further, the new member of the team will be extra special, as it will be the first dealership to operate under the banner of Norman John Hébert, who is Groupe Park Avenue's Vice-President, Business Development.

A natural acquisition
Léo Harley-Davidson, a Québec-based company located on the South Shore, will remain in the hands of local entrepreneurs. Both businesses have been well-stablished on Taschereau Boulevard for several years and they will benefit from each other's knowledge in order to continue to grow and offer outstanding customer service to fans of the brand. Groupe Park Avenue is an important player in the Québec luxury vehicle industry and "we look forward to discovering the essence of the prestigious Harley-Davidson brand and learning more about its passionate customers," said Norman John Hébert as he made the announcement to the employees of Léo Harley-Davidson. "We will forge our areas of expertise in order to offer the best product possible to our customers. Léo Bouchard founded an important movement and community in the world of Harley-Davidson and we will continue to honour this tradition," he added. The fact that their respective strengths have been joined together in a common effort, along with their strong entrepreneurial values, will show that this acquisition was undoubtedly a good choice.

A smooth transition
The Léo Harley Davidson team is currently made up of 30 passionate people who will continue to serve their customers and Jean-Luc Dionne will serve as the dealership's general manager. The employees will be able to take advantage of Groupe Park Avenue's human resources structure, including succession planning, employee benefits and various recognition programs that are offered to all of the organisation's employees. Groupe Park Avenue is looking to adapt to this sector on a gradual basis. Norman Hébert, Groupe Park Avenue's President and CEO, is very happy to have a team of committed professionals that he can count on as his company joins the world of motorcycles and he looks forward to learning more about this mythical product that also carries strong cultural significance. According to Mr. Hébert, "values that pertain to loyalty and a sense of community also tie in very closely with those of our respective founders. In this way, we continue to be proactive and give back to the community." Groupe Park Avenue is proud to have been chosen by Éric Bouchard to honour the tradition of his father, Léo, founder of Léo Harley-Davidson. "As I step aside, I am fully confident as I move on to other endeavours that the team is in good hands. I know that our customers will benefit from Groupe Park Avenue's know-how, and together, they will continue to put my father's philosophy into practice."
