TransMedia Group Said It Was Retained To Introduce World's First Solar Yacht Thursday at The Palm Beach International Boat Show

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TransMedia Group, the public relations firm with a long and distinguished history of introducing revolutionary products, said it was hired to do it again Thursday at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

The firm was retained by Silent-Yachts www.silentyachts.us to introduce the world's first solar yacht.

Silent Yachts are the first and only oceangoing production yachts in the world that are fully solar sustainable and exclusively powered by solar energy.

TransMedia Group's product introductions span decades from AT&T's first cell phones and video conferencing service to the first car-wrapped rent a cars and gold vending machines to today's first use of blockchain technology by Timicoin.io to store and access medical records instantly from anywhere.

Now it will introduce the penultimate in solar ingenuity, the world's first solar powered yacht and introduce the founders and developers of the "Silent Propulsion System," Michael and Heike Kohler whose award-winning innovative sustainable craft are nominated for Multihull of the Year 2018.

TransMedia Group's publicity history spans a plethora of innovative products from the earliest cell phones back in the 1980s to now the world's first solar yacht set to debut Thursday at the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

The PR firm founded by patented-product inventor, author and former NBC Vice President Tom Madden "is the perfect PR firm to introduce such an advancement in yachting that will benefit our environment," said Peter Ticktin, founder of The Global Warming Foundation.  "Our hats are off to the world's first solar powered yacht and to TransMedia for placing it into the media spotlight it so richly deserves."

TransMedia Group President Adrienne Mazzone said publicity will focus on getting national media to see up close and experience this amazing advancement in yachting which now makes possible 100 percent autonomous and unlimited range sea travel without the slightest affront to the environment.

"Our publicity will show that with low to zero maintenance requirements or repair costs, Silent-Yachts has solved the limited range conundrum of electric vessels," said TransMedia Group CEO Tom Madden.

"This is a true design of innovation and sustainability with its unique silent propulsion system which gives a crystal clear vision of the future of yachting," he said.

"It will bring to yachting what Tesla has brought to the automotive world."
