Cressey & Company LP Announces Andy Hurd as Operating Partner


CHICAGO, March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cressey & Company LP ("Cressey & Company" or the "Firm"), a healthcare-focused private investment firm, has announced that Andy Hurd, an experienced healthcare and technology executive, has joined the Firm as an Operating Partner. Mr. Hurd's appointment will bolster Cressey & Company's focus on investing in leading healthcare information technology businesses.

Mr. Hurd possesses 30 years of experience leading organizations in the healthcare industry, including 23 years as a senior executive for innovative healthcare information technology companies executing software-as-a-service business models. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Hurd most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of MedeAnalytics, a leading provider of cloud-based analytics solutions that help healthcare organizations improve care delivery and strengthen their operations.

Mr. Hurd earned a B.S. in business and administration from Northern Arizona University, where he was a three-time All-Conference member and captain of the men's basketball team.
