Ann Lynn Lipton's New Book "HIP HIP HOORAY" is a Tale Filled with Extraordinary Experiences About the Challenges of Hip Surgery and Treatment that Accompanied it

YORKTOWN, Va., March 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ann Lynn Lipton, an adjunct US history professor at a community college, with a BA, MA, and working on a doctorate degree and an amazing array of awards for teaching communities and leadership, has completed her new book "HIP HIP HOORAY": an awe-inspiring tale of resilience and resolution in handling the problems that come with joint and hip surgeries and its corresponding medical care.

Author Lipton reflects a life of pain and inconvenience associated with having body ailments: "I put my faith in a highly recommended surgeon, and in June 1995, went through my first hip replacement. I suppose by that time I might have listened if they said that dropping me off a ten-story building would help me feel better, because my pain was growing worse by the week. I was walking with crutches by that time. The surgery was really a breeze. I did have some extra bleeding, but donating my own blood prior to surgery is something every surgical patient, who can do, should do to avoid getting transfusions from a blood bank. Of course in my case, that only provided blood volume, and I was given platelets as well since mine are just not able to coagulate properly. I have sufficient platelet counts; however, mine do not seem to want to get together and coagulate!"

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Ann Lynn Lipton's powerful tale also comes with a how-to guide that aids patients and their caregivers in handling joint problems and potential surgeries.

Readers who wish to experience this illuminating work can purchase "HIP HIP HOORAY" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
