Fun for Everyone at these St. Patrick's Day Festivities Recommended by The GO Group

CHICAGO, March 8, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- St. Patrick's Day celebrations are not limited to those of Irish heritage, it's a day for everyone to congregate in Kelly green with friends, family and strangers to celebrate Irish culture with parades, dancing, food and of course  a glass of beer (green if you're lucky). The travel experts at The GO Group recommend these festivities.

Chicago
The dyeing of the Chicago River has been a generational St. Patty's Day tradition, attracting 400,000 of your closest Irish loving friends. The parade is packed with all things Irish - colorful floats waving green/white/orange flags, troops of Irish step dancers, and booming marching bands!

NYC
In New York, everyone can lay claim to being at least a little bit Irish  on St. Patrick's Day (even the City's bagels and beer go green for the occasion). The parade first held in 1762 lays claim to being the oldest and largest of its kind in the world. Bagpipers, marching bands and assorted revelers will march up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street starting at 11am.

Boston
Get to experience a bit of "real" Boston culture and see why it's considered the most Irish of any American city. One million spectators gather in South Boston to enjoy Irish music played on Irish and American pipes and drum bands at the St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday March 18th.

Las Vegas
Fremont Street Experience is the epicenter of St. Patrick's Day celebrations in downtown Las Vegas. The venue will be home of the 4 days of free live music, March 15-18, 2018.
Festivities will include authentic Irish entertainment, live tribute bands and lots of bars offering drink specials.

Hawaii
Celebrate the Waikiki St. Patrick's Day Parade, the last parade on the planet each year, with plenty of Irish food and live entertainment. Beginning on Kal?kaua Avenue at Fort DeRussy at noon, the festivities will trace a route through Waikiki, down Kal?kaua, finishing at Kapi?olani Park at 1:30 p.m.
