Cheryl Strayed and Elizabeth Gilbert Return to 1440 Multiversity by Popular Demand

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Back by popular demand, beloved authors Cheryl Strayed and Elizabeth Gilbert are joining forces again at 1440 Multiversity. Brave Magic: An Invitation to Curiosity, Creativity, and Courage will take place September 20-23, 2018 at the Northern California learning destination known for immersive programs with the world's leading thinkers and creators, that facilitate transformation, creativity and personal fulfillment.

Cheryl Strayed and Elizabeth Gilbert return to 1440 Multiversity to offer Brave Magic workshop

This rare opportunity is only the second time Gilbert and Strayed have presented a workshop together, following a sold-out event at 1440 in October, 2017. Through interviews with Liz and Cheryl, experiential workshop sessions, and opportunities for reflection, participants will discover how our attitudes, habits, and determination ? along with healthy doses of magical thinking ? make it possible to keep the faith on our journey and show up fully for what arises.

"We are thrilled to be coming back to 1440 Multiversity to lead this workshop," said Elizabeth Gilbert. "Something I find myself saying to people all the time is to start knowing. What are you waiting for, to know what to do? Let's work together, and open your eyes for you to know."

"I think so much of learning to trust your creativity, and to become a fully evolved human, is believing that your truth will lead you to love," said Cheryl Strayed. "This workshop provides the space to explore and learn to trust our own story."

The all-inclusive nature of 1440 Multiversity is designed to provide an integrated and fully immersive experience. In addition to the program fee of $550, the per-person accommodation rate cover all meals, daily meditation and yoga classes, non-ticketed evening events, and use of all facilities, including the fitness center and infinity tub. A range of accommodation types, from modern, Asian-inspired pods, to premium suites complete with fireplaces and ground-level patios, are designed to meet a range of preferences and budgets. Healing arts treatments, café and retail items, and ticketed events are an additional cost. To register for the course, please visit https://1440.org/program/brave-magic-2018/.

"We are thrilled to welcome Cheryl and Liz back to campus, and give more people the opportunity to share in their warm sincerity, infectious enthusiasm, and inspiration to create an expansive, purposeful and daring life," said Scott Kriens, cofounder of 1440 Multiversity and chairman and former CEO of Juniper Networks.
