Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute to Host 2018 Thought Leaders Consortium in Tucson


SEATTLE, Feb. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute (PLMI) will host the Sixth Annual Thought Leaders Consortium Oct. 12-13, 2018 at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, Arizona. The title of the 2018 conference is The Science of Precision: What's Next for Personalized Lifestyle Health Care. PLMI has successfully sponsored five previous consortia. Each event has attracted a global audience of several hundred health care professionals, research scientists, business leaders, and tech innovators.

Key presenters for 2018 will include Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., President of the Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute; Larry Smarr, Ph.D., Founding Director of Calit2, a UC San Diego/UC Irvine Partnership; Dale Bredesen, MD, who is affiliated with UCLA and the Buck Institute and is the author of the best-selling book The End of Alzheimer's; and Michael Fenech, Ph.D., Senior Principal Researcher at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) based in Canberra, Australia.
