64 Edmonton Kids to Sign One-Day Contracts with the Edmonton Oilers

EDMONTON, Feb. 18, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, sixty-four young hockey players with the dream of being in the NHL will be signing one-day contracts with the Edmonton Oilers. Selected by Boston Pizza, the Preferred Family Restaurant of the Edmonton Oilers, these future NHLers will get to experience signing a professional hockey contract, suiting up in the Oilers Dressing Room and taking the ice with Oilers Alumni. Once the contracts have been signed, the arena will open up for a family skate for the runners-up of the contest.

The NHLer for a Day event was also held in Calgary with the Calgary Flames on January 14^th and in Vancouver with the Vancouver Canucks on January 20^th.
