NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Atlas Lift Tech and NYU Winthrop Hospital are excited to announce groundbreaking news in the progress of safe patient handling and mobility (SPHM) on the East Coast. The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) has awarded a 2.5% insurance credit to NYU Winthrop for their successful implementation of an SPHM program that keeps caregivers and patients safe.

In addition to servicing NYU Winthrop's SPHM program, Atlas Lift Tech is expanding into three Tenet Healthcare facilities in Massachusetts. The Atlas Lift Tech programs at St. Vincent's Hospital, MetroWest Medical Center: Leonard Morse and MetroWest Framingham Union Hospital are set to launch in the first quarter of 2018.
