Canada and Quebec support the development of a tourist attraction in Bromont


BROMONT, QC, Feb. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - The governments of Canada and Quebec recognize that tourism infrastructure plays a key role in developing dynamic, prosperous communities and preserving Canada's diverse heritage.

Denis Paradis, Member of Parliament for Brome?Missisquoi, along with Louis Villeneuve, Mayor of Bromont, today announced that the Government of Canada will invest over $18,000 to improve Bromont's tourist infrastructure. The project consists of renovating and redeveloping the Bromont Tourist Welcome Office to create a section with a regional theme, as well as improving interior and exterior equipment.

This financial assistance comes from the New Building Canada Fund, Provincial-Territorial Infrastructure Component?Small Communities Fund. The Government of Quebec and the City of Bromont will also contribute more than $18,000 each for a total government-municipal investment of nearly $55,000.
