Jason Jenne Rejoins True Temper As Chief Financial Officer


MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- True Temper Sports announced the hiring of Jason Jenne as Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Jenne brings an extensive financial and executive leadership background most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Fred's Inc, a $2 billion general merchandise retailer and pharmacy. 

Mr. Jenne has a deep knowledge of the sporting goods and consumer products industries.  He previously served in several senior leadership roles within True Temper Sports during his 18 year career at the company prior to departing in 2016 to pursue other professional leadership opportunities.  In his new role, Mr. Jenne will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the accounting and finance functions in addition to overseeing True Temper's global information technology, legal, regulatory, insurance and risk management.
