Ovation Fertilitytm Hires Aaron Harutunian As Director Of Business Development

Aaron Harutunian to Lead Growth in Genetics, Donor Services, Embryo Storage

The national fertility services provider Ovation Fertility has added Aaron Harutunian to its rapidly growing team as Director of Business Development. Harutunian joined the Ovation Fertility team on January 15, 2018, bringing 10 years of experience in IVF and reproductive genomics.

Harutunian built his career in the fertility field at Genesis Genetics, starting in 2008 as director of preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), a type of genetic testing for aneuploidy screening of embryos. Starting in 2013, he became director of business development and a managing partner for Genesis Genetics, which later became a CooperSurgical company. He most recently served as director of business development and corporate accounts, responsible for identifying and securing new business deals.

Harutunian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutritional sciences from Michigan State University, where he worked as a laboratory technician and research scholar, participating in a grant-funded research project to better understand the function of vitamin A during early embryonic development and cardiovascular formation.

Among his many professional affiliations, Harutunian is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Pacific Coast Reproductive Society (PCRS). He is also a manager of the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) and has served as a speaker at the Southwest Embryology Summit (SWES) and Southern California Assisted Reproductive Biologists (SCARB).
