Thirty-Four Vancouver Kids to Sign One-Day Contracts with the Vancouver Canucks

VANCOUVER, Jan. 20, 2018 /CNW/ - Today, thirty-four lucky youngsters will be signing one-day contracts with the Vancouver Canucks. Selected by Boston Pizza, the Preferred Family Restaurant of the Vancouver Canucks, these future NHLers will get a taste of what it's like to play in the big leagues; including a realistic signing experience, access to the team dressing room and ice time with Canucks' Alumni. Following the signings, the arena will open to contest runners-up for a family skate.

"We're always looking for exciting ways to give back to the community, so we're proud to be partnering with the Vancouver Canucks for the second year in a row to help inspire thirty-four up-and-coming Vancouver all-stars with the chance to join the Canucks organization," says Jenna Bull, Marketing Manager for Sports Programs and Sponsorship at Boston Pizza.

The NHLer for a Day event will also be held in Edmonton with the Edmonton Oilers on February 18^th. A similar event was also held in Calgary with the Calgary Flames on January 14^th.
