American Express presents famous rock star Josie Ho performing live with Far East Movement in Hong Kong
TORONTO, Jan. 19, 2018 /CNW/ - Far East Movement is scheduled to perform their hit single "Rocketeer" for Billboard Radio on Friday, January 19, 2018. The song features Ryan Tedder of One Republic. Joining the band at this live performance will be Hong Kong rock star Josie Ho. Far East Movement is recognized for being the first Asian-American group to have a Billboard #1 song in the world. The band is based in LA and is known for their American electronic, hip-hop sound. Josie Ho is famous in Hong Kong for her eclectic rock star sound, powerful music & acting career.
Josie took a small break to do this. These days you can find her on tour with her rock band "Josie & The Uni Boys". They've been on tour promoting their newest album "Go Berserka".
She has curated a very carefully selected outfit as she is also famous for her personal sense of style. The pieces she selected for this showcase were provided by Gucci including red slacks and a one-of-a-kind jacket featuring Dragon and Pheonix embroidery, along with Vans X shoes by Hong Kong designer Johanna Ho. The jacket is symbolic for Josie because it culturally represents the Eastern Dragon fusing with the Western Pheonix. It represents the success of Far East Movement on an international scale as a major breakthrough, culturally and artistically, for the band with roots in Hong Kong. She will also be wearing two Gucci head pieces: one of which is a black velvet tiger turban featuring white fox and sheep fur embroidery; the other is black, gold and silver. Josie Ho is a major star in Hong Kong and this performance means a lot to her.
This performance is happening at the AIA Great European Carnival on the Billboard Radio Stage.
