Victory Living Programs to Host 8th Annual "Cheeseburger in Paradise" Event

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- For the eighth consecutive year Victory Living Programs will host the annual "Cheeseburger in Paradise" fundraiser! The event will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the beautiful Fort Lauderdale Country Club, located at 415 E. Country Club Cir., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317.

Guests dressed in their island best will enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, a live and silent auction, beer and wine, a cash bar and a delectable burger station where you can design your own, in the words of Jimmy Buffett, "big warm bun and a huge hunk of meat."

"Our Cheeseburger in Paradise fundraiser has become one of our most successful and anticipated events of the year," said Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs. "Last year we raised more than $20,000 for our various programs, which help people with developmental disabilities live, work and play more independently in Broward County."

"Cheeseburger in Paradise" is planned by the AngeLs for Victory, a dedicated group of individuals who plan and host fundraisers throughout the year to benefit Victory Living Programs. For more than 40 years, Victory Living Programs has been providing supported living, employment, community inclusion/adult day training and social recreational programs for individuals with disabilities in Broward County.

Tickets are $70 per person or $120 per couple and include the burger bar (chicken will also be available) and two drink tickets for beer or wine.
