MATERIAL FACT: Sabesp's Second Ordinary Tariff Revision - Final Stage

SAO PAULO, Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo ? Sabesp ("Company" or "Sabesp"), pursuant to the provisions of Article 157, Paragraph 4 of Law No. 6404/76 and the provisions of CVM Instruction No. 358/02, hereby informs to its shareholders and to the market in general that, on January 16, 2018, the Regulatory Agency for Sanitation and Energy of the State of São Paulo (ARSESP - Agência Reguladora de Saneamento e Energia do Estado de São Paulo) published Notice of Public Consultation No. 01/2018 ("Notice") for stakeholders to express opinions and collect subsidies on the calculation methodology to be adopted in the final stage of Sabesp's 2nd Ordinary Tariff Revision.

According to the Notice, stakeholders may send their contributions between January 17 and February 05, 2018.
