Ameriflex reorganizes executive team to support sister company Accresa, drive innovation in benefits payment technology

DALLAS, Jan. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Ameriflex today announced changes to the company's executive team to support sister company Accresa and explore opportunities for further growth and innovation in consumer-driven benefits and related fields. Ameriflex is an award-winning independent administrator of consumer-driven health plans.

Ameriflex

Anne Richter, Ameriflex's Chief Strategy Officer, has been named President of Accresa. In this role, she is responsible for building, managing, and executing on Accresa's strategic plan, with an emphasis on growth and business development. This is in addition to her continued role as CSO of Ameriflex, where she provides support for that company's global strategic plan and direction. Richter reports directly to William Short, CEO of both Ameriflex and Accresa.

Accresa launched in 2015 and focuses on direct primary care (DPC) payments. DPC is an emerging healthcare payment model based on a membership agreement between patients and doctors instead of the prevalent arrangement where doctors are paid via insurers according to service-based claims. The Accresa payments and technology platform is the first of its kind to capture and adapt all the advantages of a DPC model to fit within the framework of an employer's health benefits offering.

"After 20 years of benefits and payments innovation at Ameriflex, we launched Accresa to do what nobody else in our industry has accomplished: make direct primary care easily accessible within employee benefits plans," said Short. "Anne has been a core member of the Accresa team from the beginning and is perfectly suited to take on a more formal leadership role as the business evolves."

Ameriflex also recently hired David Rose in the new role of Chief Revenue Officer. Rose is responsible for the company's growth and revenue strategy, including day-to-day sales operations, annual growth plan, marketing, and strategic and channel partnerships. He is based in Dallas and reports to Ameriflex President and Chief Operating Officer Bart McCollum. Prior to joining Ameriflex, David consulted with business leaders around the world to help them grow revenue and profits, delivering over $4 billion in revenue to his clients.

"Our executive team at Ameriflex and Accresa is a dedicated, accomplished group with a proven track record for solving complex problems through technology?and building successful companies from scratch," added Short. "We see a great deal of opportunity in the marketplace, and that's driving the growth of our business and our team."
